Government essay

I have had trouble with writing all of my life; I have always found the grammar rules, spelling, and other things to be confusing to understand. Although I have struggled with English, I chose this essay because it shows how my writing skills have improved over the years and that I can write a coherent article about history & government. In this assignment, we were supposed to explain how the government has problems and how to fix them. I talked about how race can affect one's voice in voting and running for office and how we can fix it by being more accepting and sticking to the facts. In the end, I'm very proud of what I had made because I grew in my English skills and learned a lot about our country's government.

Lantern

I have always liked math as a subject in school, and even though I'm not currently in math or going into a field, I sill enjoy doing it. This project was in my geometry class and required us to make a geometric lantern, where every side is symmetrical and even. I personally didn't find this to be a very hard project as I had so much fun creating and decorating it. I was able to craft something from my own hands that fitted the requirements of the assignment, but also my own quality standards. This project express that I can abide the guidelines of a project but also add some of my own flair to it.

The 4th Of July Parade Float

The 4th of July parade in Alameda is a long and annual tradition in our little town. Every year organizations from all around the island and the bay area come to participate in it and show off there spirit and pride for our country. The spit and fun manner it has makes it one of my favorite projects that I've worked on dung my time at ACLC. The outcomes were amazing as it helped bring students from all grade together and showed off our school spirit to the whole town. It was not easy to put on though, as I had to buy all the supplies, go to town meetings and build the float before the date of the parade. lucky students from the school came out and helpd to build it. The project aslo shows that I am able to facilitate a major project while aslo bringing people together, as well as advertise our school to the public. I hope to come back in the years to come and watch the ACLC parade float come down the street and see what it has become.
